SOLITUDE:

The bitter cold struck deep in the bone,

the morning was eerily bold,

old mahogany has lost its glow

life seem to struck by the heaviest blow.

vintage wine lay untouched

melancholic morning had suddenly made a bigger lurch

self disdain so consummate

I stretched out , sat by the lamp and began to pray

hands clasped and eyes struck at the glowing amber

head bowed in awe of god’s such infinite slumber

pricking pain , knew no bounds

tears have dried , no matter how strong was grief’s rebound

The glowing town slowly lost its light

I still sat there, engrossed in prayer, tight

. The sparkling areaon appeared in the sky

the flickering candle made the room look bright

glowing agony , burning desperation within

questioned god , name atleast one my sins

God smiled and asked me to be patient

it’s a test of time hold your breath and listen

Life may have gathered some gloom clouds

now but happiness not too far away hold to yourself and have faith preserve your smile , there is an early end to your wait
